Mini-Rave in Roffa!

On Friday 22 May 2015 there will be a teaser, a taster, a toffee of classical music rave sweetness to give an impression to the Rotterdammers and all those in Rotterdam for the international conference Classical:Next or the OperaDagen.

It will be an intense mini-edition from 23:45 till 2:00 with international stars of the underground classical music scene. The line-up has DJs Mengel & Berg, Fant and Gabriel Prokofiev and live performances by the Alma Quartet, Celia García-García, Thiago Cury, the Kaleidoscope String Quartet with Etienne Abelin.

The location is odd for a typical classical music rave.... it is happening in the Rotterdam Schouwburg. For once not in a dirty, dusty, industrial setting but in a pleasant, easily reachable venue in the centre of Rotterdam. However, come and see, try it out, taste the feeling of dancing to classical music. We know you'll love it!

Entrance is free for once. Why not?

Classical Music Rave turns into a 'Rêve' with top solo violinist Rosanne Philippens

We are very (very) happy to welcome the violinist Rosanne Philippens at the Classical Music Rave on 22 August 2014 in Undercurrent, Amsterdam. She is an outstanding musician who mesmerizes her audiences with a unique sound and a charming personality. We especially like her because she isn't afraid to try new concepts (such as playing late at night!).
